Remembrance Day Assembly
This is the first in person Remembrance Day Assembly that we have had since 2019 due to all of the Covid and RSV issues that we had in the past. I want to express how incredibly proud we are of the students for their outstanding behaviour in today’s Remembrance Day Assembly. Students sang their hearts out to O Canada and were so respectful during this solemn occasion. We wish we could have invited parents to be a part of today’s ceremony; however, fire code restrictions will not permit us to open it up to parents due t lack of space. We hope that all of us will take some time to reflect on all the privileges we have in Canada due to the efforts of those who fought and continue to fight for peace and freedom. Lest we forget.
Veterans Food Drive
Our school is participating in the Veterans food drive. For families that want to participate, we would ask that you send in non-perishable food items. Each grade team will be given a box to collect donations in for the month of November. Here is a list of items that you could send:
Canned fruit and vegetables, crackers, canned soup, rice, pasta, cereal, beans, canned fish, personal hygiene products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant) and other non-perishable items.
Thanks for your support for this great cause

We will present on how to engage in challenging conversations with your young person regarding vaping.
