Wed., June 26 – Report cards open for viewing in your MyCBE account. Also, last fun lunch BBQ if you signed up through fun lunch (deadline has passed)
Thurs., June 27 – last day of school before summer vacation – Please note: 1:09 dismissal
Fri., June 28 – Appeals Day and School Clean up and Organization – No school for students
Thursday, August 29, 2024 – First Day of School for the 2024-2025 School Year
Sports Day Thank You
A big thanks to all our volunteers who helped during yesterday’s sports day. The kids had a blast at the many stations and enjoyed the popsicles provided by Parent Council.
Staffing Updates
June is the month where school staff can apply for positions at other schools in the CBE. We want to congratulate Ms. Quesnel on her successful position at Pineridge School. We want to thank her for her many years of service and contributions at ROS.
We also want to welcome Ms. Maddi McNeely to ROS. Maddi filled in on a temporary contract for the last couple of months and we look forward to working with her in the up coming years.

THANK YOU teachers & staff at ROS for a fun-filled Sports Day and to our 21 parents who helped facilitate the fun by volunteering their time. We so appreciate each of you!
Year End BBQ reminders – Wednesday, June 26
· Grade 4 parents are welcome to join their students for the (preorder) BBQ after the farewell presentation
· Kinder AM and PM parents are required to join their students for the (preorder) BBQ
· All other grades – the (preorder) BBQ is served as Fun Lunch – teachers will bring their classes out when it’s their turn to get in line (no parents attending)

· August 28: Welcome Back Chalking – Bring your brightest chalk & meet in the parking lot from 6.30 and 7.30pm to fill it with encouraging words for our returning teachers!
· August 29: First Day of School – Welcome to Kindergarten “Coffee & Kleenex” (before staggered entries)
· September 5: Picnic in the Park – Community mixer event **more details to come
· September 9: School Council/Fundraising Society meeting @ 6.30pm. All parents are invited to attend.
